The Craft

Studio 517 is a design studio in Barcelona. Ceramics is where the work becomes physical — made to a single standard and meant to be used.

Every piece is high-fired stoneware: a dense, durable body glazed in small batches. Colour carries slight, deliberate variation from one piece to the next.

Shaped and finished by hand. The marks of making are left in — weight, surface, the small asymmetries a machine wouldn't allow.

Each piece is stamped 517 on its base. Every colourway has its own name and code, so you always know which one is yours.
